Vegetables soup - easy, simple receipt - Do you love naturally fresh taste?

You wanna make a fresh soup?

Perfect, fresh soup has natural taste of vegetable and herbs and you can turn it into a warmly small dinner during cold winter season.

What you need (for 1person or more )

1. Vegetables that you like
2. Spring onions cut into very small pieces (really should have)
3. Tapiopla / Corn startch
4. Salt
5. Some herbs if you want

How to cook:

1. Cut all ingredients into small pieces (very small pieces)
2. Using a small saucepan to boil all.
(Do not add too much water as we will add more later)

3.  Stir Tapioca starch/ Corn startch into the amount of water you want to add more
(The more starch you use the more condensed you soup is)

4. When the water is boiling, adding the liquid you creat in step 3 before
5. Reduce temperature, stir every thing little bit until soup is condensed,
6. Add salt, add spring onions and herbs

7. Enjoy!
A fesh lovely hot soup is now ready, in front of you! Please enjoy its smoke in such a cold winter or even wet autumn :D

My suggestion and tips:

- At least these vegetables go very well together
Cauliflower: as much as you can (cut into very small pieces)
Broccoli: some (cut into small pieces)
Asparagus: I definitely love it (cut into small pieces, like small O)
Tomato: 1 or 2 tomatoes (This create slight color and taste of tomatoe for fresh soup- very nice)

-You can choose to add other vegetables you have at home: Mushroom. Carrot, Corn...

However, potatoes or similar vegetables should NOT be added.
The type of vegetables you add in this fresh soup should have the same characteristic as broccoli, carrot, corn... which is easy to be cooked by boiling and have a taste of fresh :p

You can add the amount of water, vegetable and salt as you want but the main part of this fresh taste :D there is no milk or cream or similar ingredient. Hence, spring onions cut into very small pieces can decorate the soup and the more you add it the greater the soup is.

But do not add too much haha!

I really hope you love and enjoy it. I wanna write something short and easy to follow, you can creat your version and you are free to do different things, try different ways! No pictures no detailed amount! Cooking is feeling and loving!

And let me know, too. I wanna know your version :D Thanks a lot and let s be in touch ;)

Finland- A love story

Did you fall in love with Finland?

I read something from a learning language site, stated reasons why people should learn Swedish. The reason is because learning Swedish opens the door to such an interesting Scandinavian culture. With only Swedish knowledge, you can come to any Nordic country and start exploring.

That is fine, actually that is actually really right. The writer is such an amazing person speaking ''thousands of language'' and he/ she also gives numerous useful tips on learning many languages. As a person who has spent these 2 years trying to be fluent in Finnish like me (haha), he/ she is awesome!

However, even though Swedish will be an advantage in Finland, I still want to learn Finnish. The Finnish- learning journey has been cool, upset and joyful together. To be honest, I do not learn Finnish because I like the language but because I did fall in love with Finland!

I love the nature of Finland. My first moment at Vantaa Airport was full of green- (Suomeksi: vihreä), which I call Vihreä- moment. Do you know that more than 70% of Finland is covered by forest?
Finland- the land of lakes- let's have a nick name for Finland: lala country (La-Kela-nd = lakeland). Interestingly, Kela is also Social Insurance Institution of Finland.

And do you know about ''Everyman's right'', which is ''Jokamiehen Oikeus'' in Finnish. You will definitely love it!!!! (or I think so haha). Human's right is to get deep in the nature. People are free to go into the forest, pick up many types of mushroom, fresh berries and breath clean air. Finns really like picnic outside, next to the lakes, which is wonderful in the summer midnight sun.

But don't you think dark winter can prevent Finns from enjoying time with the nature? No way! With more than 3 million saunas across Finland, Finns turn on their little fire ( I mean candle :D), go to their sauna and jump into cold water (or ice lake) after that! So you notice that, right? 5.5 million people in Finland (Stat.fi, 2013) but +3 million sauna.

There is a quote: ''In Finland, we have Black Friday. Every Friday from October till March''. Ha ha, actually Finns love summer time, when they have summer, they enjoy mid summer festival, have ''kokko'' meaning bornfire and there are many weddings. People spend time in summer cottage, many families drive Rv or camper van (the huge huge big car for travelling) and go to festival places.

But Finns still enjoy their dark winter some ways .D houses are decorated warmly with yellow light in winter. Also, in the night of 24.12 and ''Pyhäinpäivä'' (All Saints Day, the Saturday between 31.10 and 6.11 annually), Finns turn on thousands of little candles in cemeteries, to remember about the Dead. That scene is amazing, as a Finnish silent way to show their love! Small tiny light brighten the dark!

Simple easy vegan macaroni

Which vegetables do you have in the fridge? Some types; and you have a pack of macaroni.
Let's do it! A great dinner or lunch or breakfast can be ready soon.

What you need to do is:
1. Boiling macaroni
2. Cutting your vegetables into small pieces (in cubes or in whatever shape you like)

3. Turn on the stove (highest temperature)
Add a little of olive oil, wait several minutes to let olive oil hot
4. Fry your vegetable ingredients
(remember to reduce the temperature immediately after you pour vegetable into pan)
5. Add little salt (and pepper if you love spicy food)

6. Start pouring macaroni into this hot pan!
Add little salt (or pepper if you want)
7. Mix and fry some more minutes

8. Decorating your dish! Take a picture and share with everyone (with me, too :d)
Oh I forget: 9. Enjoying!

Some tips for a better taste!

  • Small pieces of vegetables absorb salt or pepper easier, which means taste is better
  • It depends on your type of macaroni, stove, temperature you boil... but try not to over-boil :pp Good macaroni is essential
  • You can use different types of vegetables but a red and green- couple are great (like carrot and broccoli). The color helps the dish look more delicious :)
  • Mushroom--- I love them!
  • ONIONs (red onion, yellow onions, or it can be garlic) if you have some left, go ahead! Use them! The taste will be incredible if you try to use onions this way: cut them into very thin slides like letter C. After step 3, add the onion first, fry them 2-3 minutes, you have to use your hands a lot, fry and move the onions in the hot pan, when they become soft and the smell is sticking everywhere :p continue with step 4)

This dish, you can make it in a very simple way, or in a very complicated way :D More ingredients, less ingredients, just you choose the recipe. If you dont have macaroni, use other noodle, instant noodle or anything similar, even rice or quinoa is cool :d

But remmeber to change the temperature, fry seperately ''vegetable part'' and ''macaroni part'', add enough salt (based on your taste) and decorate well! enjoy your meal!

If you did try this with any other version! Let's talk and interact with me, or ask whatever. Definitely I will love it! Thank you for getting by :D
